SRSI is delighted to announce the latest member of our growing software team, Shane Barnett, who has joined us as a software developer in Crested Butte, Colorado. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Shane holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Cybersecurity from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Shane’s interest in the material handling industry stemmed from his work at SRSI, where he was first introduced to the use of robotics to optimize the supply chain. He is eager to learn and collaborate with intelligent, modest, and kind individuals, and is determined to improve his skills as a developer and robotics specialist. Shane is excited about the automation of the material handling industry and is eager to participate in this transition.
Outside of work, Shane enjoys reading, camping, trading crypto, and practicing yoga and martial arts. A favorite quote of his is: “In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer” by Camus.
