SRSI is delighted to announce the hiring of Christian Cline, an experienced industry professional from the Dallas Fort-Worth area. He will be joining the Solutions Experts team and will be based out of the Irving Sales and Engineering office.

Christian’s experience in material handling began at a young age – 7th grade to be exact. His exposure started with his family’s business where he became familiar and comfortable with conveyor curves and system installations. Christian attended the University of Dallas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business. Soon after, he received his MBA with a concentration in Finance at the same university.

After graduating and getting back into the industry, Christian gained experience as an account manager for Dematic with a specialty in goods-to-person and then as a subject matter expert (SME) on AutoStore. He quickly excelled to a sales position where he covered the entire central US and all of Canada. Christian’s high-achieving work ethic is evident in his work experience as he received the Global Sales New-Hire of the Year award as well as selling the top five largest NA AutoStore systems during his time at Dematic.

Christian’s passion for the material handling industry drives him to learn more every day and succeed at delivering valuable solutions to customers. He describes it as, “one of the best industries to work in.” He adds, “[material handling] won’t ever be short of jobs. I’m looking forward to growing in my position and with the company, and I’m interested in being part of the future of automation.”

When looking for his next growth opportunity, Christian was approached by three companies; however, there was one company he reached out to – SRSI. The SRSI team caught Christian’s attention, he connected with CEO Benjamin York, and the rest is history. Christian fit well into the SRSI community and started just before Modex 2022. When asked about his short- and long-term goals in his new position, Christian mentioned, “I’m really looking forward to growing my knowledge across a wide range of systems outside of AutoStore solutions.” In the long run, Christian plans to be an industry and team leader.

Being a young professional in the material handling industry comes with tremendous opportunity. Christian is eager to see future developments in robotics manufacturing and production and knows consumer demands will only increase from the current state. His professional career has been somewhat defined by the pandemic, so Christian is excited to get more involved in industry tradeshows and association organizations.

Outside of his material handling surroundings, Christian is not picky about is hobbies and activities. He enjoys getting outside, spending time with friends, family, and his girlfriend, riding ATVs, fishing, shooting, and other outdoor activities. On the flipside, he also enjoys staying in and playing video games and/or reading books. Christian is also involved in the Lake Dallas Planning and Zoning Commission. For a young, business-hungry individual like Christian, it was an obvious great fit for him to join SRSI. The team is excited to have him and looks forward to the long-lasting relationships he will make with our current and future customers.
