Welcoming Akanksha Sinha to the SRSI Family!
We are delighted to introduce our newest team member, Akanksha Sinha, who is joining SRSI as a Data Scientist with a specialization in Engineering Estimating. Akanksha brings a unique background and perspective to our team, and we’re excited to have her on board.
A Journey from India to Tennessee
Akanksha hails from Patna, Bihar, India, and currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee. Her educational journey took her to Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she pursued a dual degree in MBA and MS in Business Intelligence. Her academic background provides a solid foundation for her role at SRSI.
Discovering the MH Industry
Akanksha’s introduction to the Material Handling (MH) industry came as a unique opportunity right after her graduation in 2021. She was approached by Casey Chung from S&H Systems, and the prospect of working as a Data Scientist in this industry intrigued her. Akanksha saw the vital role that the Supply Chain industry played during the pandemic and was eager to explore how data science could contribute to optimization and innovation.
A Data Scientist’s Expertise
In her role, Akanksha specializes in simplifying complex problems and transforming intricate data into actionable insights. She leverages creative solutions to make data work for the team and the business as a whole.
Short and Long-Term Goals
Akanksha’s short-term goal is to swiftly familiarize herself with the business aspects and provide key analyses and insights to the solutions team. Her aim is to enhance customer conversion rates and contribute to the team’s success. In the long term, she aspires to take on additional responsibilities, contributing more holistically, and advancing her professional growth.
The Future of the MH Industry
Akanksha believes that the MH industry is currently navigating economic turbulence while simultaneously presented with numerous growth opportunities. The integration of new technologies, automation, and AI applications in various business aspects offers the industry a chance to innovate strategically. She foresees the MH industry playing a significant role in contributing to global sustainability goals.

Outside of work, Akanksha’s interests span a wide range. She’s a passionate photographer, delves into astrology, enjoys painting, and loves learning new languages. Traveling and exploring new places, long drives, deep conversations, and creating new dishes are all part of her vibrant life outside the office.
