Welcome Alan Hernández, Account Executive in Mexico!
We are delighted to introduce Alan Hernández, Account Executive for SRSI Mexico! He joined the team in December 2022, and his leadership and proactivity has not stopped amazing us. He is from Monterrey, Nuevo León, where he got a degree in Mechanics and Administration Engineering at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. He also has an MBA from Universidad Tecmilenio.
His introduction to the Material Handling Industry
Alan was introduced to the MH industry in 2015, when he started working as a mechanical design engineer, then as a projects executive, and later he led a project business unit. There, he built the team and set the processes needed to offer solutions in material handling, collaborating with the most important snack companies in the world. From then, he realized he loved solving complicated problems in the best way possible, and seeing the solutions come to life.
He has experience in developing proposal solutions from the beginning: creating a quote, prospecting and sales. Alan has also participated in the engineering development of numerous projects, notably, principally complex conveyor systems.
Alan’s Goals with SRSI
About his short-term goals with SRSI, he wants to learn and consolidate his sales career, following the best practices. In the long-term, he wants to build strong trusting relationships with the team, vendors, and clients.
Alan thinks that material handling dignifies the work people do, giving them safe and efficient ways to do their job. The pace that the industry is moving is increasing. There are new materials and technologies that make every day more interesting and enjoyable for him, because there are more challenges every day.
He is excited to be working with SRSI because it is a project-based company, and he is thrilled to be part of the growth of SRSI in the country.
In his Free Time…
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, participating in an apostolate group at church, playing softball and developing business ideas. He has worked on different projects, but he has focused on a corn bread company and a family counseling platform with his wife.
